What Should Be In Your Emergency Go Bag?
An emergency GO bag should be packed with essentials to help you survive for at least 72 hours in case of evacuation. Here’s a checklist of what to include:
1. Essentials & Documents
- Water (1 liter per person per day)
- Non-perishable food (energy bars, canned goods, dry snacks)
- Copies of important documents (ID, passports, insurance, medical records, birth certificates) in a waterproof bag
- Cash (small bills and coins)
- Emergency contact list (printed, in case phone dies)
2. First Aid & Medications
- First aid kit (bandages, antiseptic wipes, pain relievers, gauze, tweezers, etc.)
- Personal medications (at least a week’s supply)
